Private: “Monarch Garden in a Box” Plant Sale

Do you want to be a part of the movement to help the threatened Monarch butterfly?  Get all the plants you need to create your own butterfly garden at the “Monarch Garden in a Box” Plant Sale presented by The City of St. Louis as part of its Milkweeds for Monarchs  initiative.

Each “Monarch Garden in a Box” costs $50 and contains nine quart-sized plants, including:

• Four milkweed plants (two varieties)
• Five nectar plants

Quantities are limited, so reserve yours by April 22 to ensure availability.  Contact Elizabeth Ward (warde@stlouis-mo.gov).

Plants will be available for pick-up on Sunday, May 1st from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Brightside’s Demonstration Garden, 4646 Shenandoah Avenue.
